Speak to Roh’kenmou again and he will tell you about a “most important object” that he needs help finding, a Medallion. Travel to Rabanastre, into Lowtown and head to Old Dalan’s house. After speaking to him here, he will now appear at Old Dalan’s place in Lowtown. Talk to him and select all of the possible choices. Travel to the area in the south with the Save Crystal called the Muted Scarp (use the map below for reference). For starters, you must speak to a Nu Mou named Roh’kenmou who can be found up in the Nabreus Deadlands. The last fragment involves some interaction with creatures known as the Nu Mou. Search the area to the south (across the water) for a shiny object which is the Dull Fragment. Once all five switches have been flipped, in the order listed above, you will hear a faint noise of something dropping on the ground. You now need to obtain the other two Fragments in order to obtain the first Medallion specifically, the Dull Fragment and the Grimy Fragment. In order to begin the quest, you will need to complete a few Hunts, including: Nu Mou Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Images. The quest involves locating three Medallions and using them to access three locked rooms in the Necrohol of Nabudis. Now that they've been definitively put in the 'Beast Tribe' box, I can't see SE making them playable in the future. This side quest is also known as the Nabreus Medallions side quest and it allows you to obtain the optional Esper named Chaos once you reach the end. While I would love playable Nu Mou, they've just been introduced in Shadowbringers as a Beast Tribe, and FFXIV has historically drawn a pretty hard line between Beast Tribes and human-like characters. Parts of this side quest can be completed as you progress through the game, but it cannot be fully completed until after you have reached the Balfonheim Port.
